Jada was 15 years old when she was tragically caught in gun fire a few years ago. Over the years her parents pushed efforts to reduce gun violence in the city of Detroit and finally the councilman decided to create a "safe haven" for the youth of Detroit in this park. DTLR was on site to provide over 5,000 pounds of fresh produce to residents in the park area.
