At the DTLR VILLA store in Genesee Valley Center, staff stepped up to the plate, side by side with Flint native and Denver Nuggets point guard, Monte Morris to let the community know they are not forgotten. Long lines wrapped around the store as Morris and DTLR VILLA staff distributed cases of water to the residents of Flint. Not only did Morris host this opportunity, once he presented this initiative to his teammates, they were compelled to join him for such a good cause. Mason Plumlee and Will Barton pulled up to the in-store event, along with some of the Nuggets coaching staff, to distribute cases of water, sign autographs, and show the city of Flint some love!
