At our Grand Rapids, Michigan store we hosted “Just Cure it”, an event that raises awareness to the Immunodeficiency disease Sickle Cell. This cause hits close to home our DTLR/VILLA Grand Rapids assistant manager Faustino “Redd” Garcia, as his two sons struggle with the disease.
DTLR provided food, desserts, live music by Dj Seven Eights and health experts from The Sickle Ccell Awareness foundation. Customers not only got the opportunity to shop, fill their stomachs and also fill their minds with priceless information on how to be proactive and get the proper test and screening for Sickle cell!
