In an effort to support our communities that suffer from low to no access to fresh produce, we partnered with local organizations/communities to provide items otherwise under accessible.
We purchased up to 100,000 pounds of fresh produce from local grocers in Dallas, Atlanta, Detroit and Miami and set up a makeshift "farmer's market" in under served neighborhoods. Local organizations also partnered with us to distribute turkeys and other items.
We launched on November 20 and for a whole week our team traveled to each city listed to distribute fresh produce and non-perishable items. Through this initiative we were able to feed 1000 families in 4 of our major markets that are deemed as food deserts.
