Black History Month Celebration

At Cecil Elementary school in Northeast Baltimore the teachers, staff and students came together to honor their ancestors for BHM with poetry, song and dance. This years theme was " Sankofa: Going into the past in order to better the future". DTLR sponsored the event with décor and shirts for all participants to wear. Check out some of the highlights below:
