In Miami, DTLR took the opportunity to bless families across the Tri-county area with 3 different food distributions
.
DTLR alongside the Miami-Dade Department of Corrections gave away more than 500 turkeys at the Gwen Cherry Park in Miami. Residents started lining up at 5am, and along with a turkey, residents received non -perishable items, PPE and hot meals.
In Broward County, DTLR joined forces with the Broward County Outreach Center to host a mental health paint session, distribute hot meals, haircuts, PPE and other items to the homeless community in that area.
Simultaneously, DTLR partnered with recording artist and Florida native rapper, Kodak Black to distribute over 5,000 turkeys to the Tri- county area over a 3-day tour, making 7 stops in the area. Residents in Sistrunk and Sunland, Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale, North Miami, Little Haiti and Golden Acres, home of the rapper, were gracious to receive the staple for their holiday meal.
