Our communities need our help now more than ever and our team as most of our stores are in communities that are deemed food deserts. We have a mission to educate them on the importance of healthy eating while providing them with those healthy options when we can. We Dare our Communities To Live Right by being more Health conscious.
DTLR and Royal Ryderz Non-Profit partnered for the 3rd time this year to make sure their residents had healthy food options.
400 (pre-packed) boxes of fresh produce and non-perishables were distributed at this "Pull Up and Pull Off" event to the 7th and Gratiot community on the Eastside of Detroit.
Volunteers were out early in mask and gloves , placing items in the cars of recipients that pulled up to the DTLR parking lot.
